5. Links to other offerers

Our website has – clearly recognizable – links to other companies’ websites. With these links all we allow is access to the use of other parties’ contents in line with the provisions of Section 8 of the German Telemedia Act. In so far as there are links to other offerers’ websites we have no influence on their contents. This is why we cannot assume any warranty and liability for the contents of the same. As far as the contents of these sites are concerned it is always the respective offerer or operator of these sites, who is responsible for the same. At the time of the linking these linked sites were carefully checked in order to ensure that there are no potential violations of law under civil or penal law aspects, and/or any recognizable infringements or violations of law. At the time when these links were made there were no noticeable illegal contents to be detected. Constant monitorings to control the contents of the linked sites are, however, not acceptably reasonable as long as there are no specific indications which hint a violation of law or an infringement. Whenever any infringements of rights and/or laws will become known, such links are immediately removed.

6. Security

It may be possible that unencrypted information which you send us per e-mail may be read by third parties on the path of their transmission. In the case of e-mails there is therefore no guaranty that this type of communication is legally secure. We use filters against undesired advertisements (‘SPAM filters’) which will also automatically but erroneously classify normal e-mails as unwanted advertisements and may delete the same. E-mails which contain malware (‘viruses’) are also automatically deleted by us.
If you wish to send us sensitive data which warrant protection (for instance payment data) we recommend that you encrypt and also electronically sign the same if possible, in order to prevent unauthorized access, falsification or corruption on the path of transmisstion, or that you send us such data by conventional mail through the postal services.

In an effort to protect the personal data of our customers, employees and / or suppliers against unauthorized acces, damage, loss, destruction and/or manipulations we have taken technical and organizational measures. These measures are constantly checked and monitored and updated to the latest state of technology. .
In order to guarantee the confidentiality of our communication with you we are also using so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layers) – and S/MIME- encryption.

7. Cookies

On our homepages we are using so-called cookies in some contexts. These cookies are small text files which are dropped on your computer and which your browser will save. Cookies help to make our offer more user-friendly (certain inputs from you are stored in such a manner and way that you need not constantly repeat the same) and safer. The use of these cookies allows us to analyze the manner and way in which users use our websites so that we can design their contents in such a way they will meet the visitors’ needs. In addition these cookies also enable us to measure the effectiveness of any one advertisement and to place it for instance in response to the subject matters of the users’ interests. We use “session cookies”.

Cookies will not cause any damage to your computer and they do not contain any viruses. Most web browsers will automatically accept cookies. On the other hand it is, as a matter of principle, also possible to change the settings of your browser if you do not wish to send the information which is contained in the same. In that case you run a potential risk that you will not be able to fully use the features or offers of our internet page.

8. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, which is a web analysis service of Google Inc. (‘Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and which enable you to analyze the use of this website. The information which is provided by this cookie with respect to your use of this website is, as a rule, transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is saved. Google Analytics uses this website with the extension “_anonymizelp()”. Your IP address is therefore beforehand truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. It is only in exceptional cases that the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and that it is then truncated there. It is on our behalf that Google will use this information in order to analyze your use of the website and in order to compile reports concerning these web site activities, and to provide yet further internet-use-linked services in relation to the website operator. Google will not merge or pool the IP address which was communicated in connection with Google Analytics from your browser with any other data. You can prevent the storage of these cookies by means of a specific suitable setting of your browser software; we draw your attention, however, to the fact that you might, in this case, not be able to use all of the functions of this website to their full extent. Over and above that you can at any time object to the collection of the cookie-generated data which relate to your use of the internet page (inclusive of your IP address) by Google and also to the future processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the Browser-Plugin https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en, which can be accessed by this link.

b. LinkedIn link

Our internet homepage does not make use of any plugins, but merely of a link to the social network LinkedIn (Linkedln Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland – hereinafter referred-to as “LinkedIn”). You can recognize this link by LinkedIn’s logo. This link establishes the connection with this Social Media Platform, which is done by simply clicking on the link. 10. Use of YouTube

Our website uses the Social Plugin of YouTube (which belongs to Google Inc., located in San Bruno/California, USA). Some of the pages of our website have components of YouTube integrated into them. If you visit a page of our internet site which is equipped with a YouTube-Plugin, this will build up a connection to Google servers. As a result the Google Server is, amongst other things, advised which specific page of our internet site was visited by you, even though you do not have a profile with YouTube, or if you are not logged in at the given moment. This information (inclusive of your IP address) is communicated by your browser to directly go to a Google server in the USA, and is then saved there. If and when you are logged in on YouTube Google can directly attribute the visit of our site to your personal profile. We, as a website operator have no influence on the volume of the data which YouTube collects by means of this button. According to Google no personal data will be collected without a click on the button. It is only with logged-in members that such data (amongst other things the IP address) will be collected and processed. As far as the purpose and the extent of the data collection and the further processing and use of these data by Google, and your respective rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy are concerned you are asked to please refer to Google’s Privacy Statement at https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/.
As an offerer of this site we have no knowledge whatsoever of the thus communicated contents of the data and of their use by YouTube.

11. Use of Google Maps

This site uses a Google Maps Plugin (API) of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”).
Google Maps is a web service which shows interactive (geographic) maps in order to visually display geographic information.
When you use this service you will be shown where we are located and this will make it easier for you to find your way to our company.

When you call a site of our internet homepage, which incorporates the Google Maps map your browser will build up a direct connection with Google’s servers. As a result of the Plugin function information concerning your use of our website ( such as, e.g. your IP address) will be transmitted to Google servers in the USA and will be stored there. This will happen regardless of whether you have installed a Google user account through which you are logged in, or whether no user account is existing. When you are logged in with Google, Google can directly attribute the visit of our website to your user account. If such an attribution is not desired, you will have to log out before you will use the site. Google will save your data (even for unlogged users) as operational profiles and it will evaluate and analyze the same. It is specifically in line with the provisions of Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that such an evaluation and analysis is made on the basis and in view of Google’s justified interests in and to the use of personalized advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. As far as the purpose and the extent of this collection of data and the further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your pertinent rights and setting options which serve to protect your privacy are concerned you are invited to please refer to Google’s Privacy Protection Statement at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

If you do not agree to the future communication of your data to Google in connection with the use of Google Maps, you can completely opt out of the Google Maps web service by deactivating the JavaScript application in your browser. In that case Google Maps and consequently also Google Maps-based geographic maps which are shown on this web site can then not be used.
Google’s terms and conditions of use can be found at https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=US&hl=en.

12. Use of Google Web Fonts

It is for the purpose of a uniform representation of fonts that our website uses so-called Web Fonts, which are provided by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). When a site is accessed your browser will load the required Web Fonts on your browser cache so that texts and fonts will be shown in the correct manner.

The browser which you are using will for this purpose instal a direct link with Google’s servers. Due to the fact that the Web Fonts are embedded information concerning your use of our website (such as e.g. your IP address) will be transferred to Google servers in the USA and are then stored there. Google Web Fonts are used in order to best ensure a uniform and visually appealing representation and design of our website. This constitutes a justified interest as defined in Article 6 paragrah 1 lit . f of the General Data Protection Regulation . If your browser does not support Web Fonts, your computer will use a standard font.

Google’s terms and conditions of use can be found at https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=US&hl=en

13. Registration

You have an opportunity to register on our website with an indication of your personal data. Which personal data which are so communicated to us will be apparent on the input mask which is respectively used for your registration. The personal data which you will have entered will exclusively be collected and saved by us for their internal use for our own purposes. A communication of these data to either one or several order processors, for example a shipping service provider which also uses such personal data exclusively for internal use, may be initiated by us.

The registration on our website will furthermore result in that the IP address which was provided by the internet service provider (ISP) of the individual concerned, as well as the date and time of the registration will be stored. The storage of these data is made for the reason that this is the only way by which it is possible to prevent a misuse of our services and also for the reason that these data may, if it were to be necessary, also help to clarify criminal offenses or copyright infringements which may potentially be, have been, or will be committed. In so far it is a necessity to store these data in order to protect ourselves against possible risks. It is a matter of principle that these data are not communicated to any third party or parties unless statutory obligations or duties require that the same be communicated, or when their communication to other parties serves for purposes of penal prosecution or the legal pursuit and assertion of rights or titles.

The registration with the voluntary disclosure of personal data is necessary in order to enable us to offer you contents or services which can only be offered to registered users in view of the nature of the matter concerned (e.g. information material, photographs for our partners’ advertising and marketing purposes, product-specific soft and firmware, etc.). It will, upon your request, at any time be possible for you to obtain information as to which personal data are stored with reference to yourself. In addition we will correct or delete personal data upon your request or notice, unless this is or will be prohibited by statutory provisions which require the retention of the same.

14. Data protection in the case of job applications and in job application and assessment proceedings

It is for the purpose of properly handling job application procedures that we collect and process personal data of job applicants. The processing may also be done electronically if an applicant sends us his or her application documents for instance by electronic means i.e.er e-mail. If an application results in the conclusion of an employment contract with an applicant, the data which were communicated to us will be stored for the purpose of handling the employment relationship, with due consideration being given to statutory provisions. If no employment contract will be concluded with an applicant the pertinent documents will automatically be deleted six months after the notification of the negative response, unless other justified interests will prohibit deletion on our part. Another justified interest in this sense would, for instance, be constituted by a burden of proof in proceedings which relate to cases for which the German General Act on Equal Treatment is relevant.
