Product Discontinuation:

Profibus-DP in the Types B01 & B02 as of 15.05.2024

Affected Products

  • all REG-D®, REG-DP (with Profibus module) devices with the features B00, B01, B02
  • all REG-DA, REG-DMA, REG-DPA (with Profibus-DP) devices with feature Z99

Reason for Discontinuation

One or more suppliers have discontinued necessary components that require a change to the existing system.

Available Functionally Identical Replacement Devices

The company A. Eberle continues to provide the product Profibus-DP (B00) as a top-hat rail model. A plug-in solution for 19" systems is no longer provided (B01, B02).

Existing Devices in the Field

  • The guaranteed warranty period will be adhered to in all cases
  • Product support for devices in the field will continue as usual
  • Repairs of profibus modules will be carried out, but can be replaced by the successor model if repair is no longer possible

Transition Period (Last Order)

Due to poor availability of important components, there will be no transition period. The obligatory "last order" is therefore no longer applicable. At the moment, there is a need to change to a top-hat rail model (B00) if you have been using a 19" solution until now.
