Commitment to the Future: We Support the Pentecost Field Trip of FAU
As a company dedicated to innovation, education, and the energy transition, we are pleased to have once again supported the Pentecost excursion of Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) this year.
The excursion took students to Stuttgart and Augsburg, where an exciting program of visits to grid operators and industrial companies awaited them. The goal was to provide participants with practical insights into energy supply, grid infrastructure, and sustainable energy generation.
A particular highlight was the visit to the Deizisau combined heat and power (CHP) plant, where students gained an in-depth understanding of cogeneration of electricity and heat. In Augsburg, the program also included a visit to the Lechwerke (LEW) hydropower plant – an impressive example of renewable, environmentally friendly energy production.
Such excursions not only enhance the understanding of complex energy economics but also create valuable connections between science, industry, and practice. Therefore, we are proud to have contributed to nurturing young talent and shaping a sustainable energy future.
