The EOR-1DS combines short-circuit and earth fault location in single compact device at an attractive price. The installed device can be used as an non-directional short-circuit and earth fault indicator (pulse location). For this purpose, only Rogowski phase current sensors of type SR55 are needed - and these sensors are included in the package. In addition, it can also be used as a directional short-circuit and earth fault indicator (pulse locating + qu2 wiper), provided that an additional voltage measurement is available. However, the device shows its full potential when you connect modern small signal sensors for high accuracy current and voltage measurement. Together with the built-in protocol support of Modbus RTU, you can not only determine very precise current, voltage and power measurement values without gaps, but also transmit them via remote messaging, for better network transparency. An essential function in times of the energy transition, where conditions in our power grids are changing rapidly and continuously.
